FIRMA Engineering Ltd had an excellent day yesterday at the NDA Group Supply Chain Event and enjoyed the various breakout presentations provided throughout the day.
A great deal of interest shown in the FIRMA Engineering, “FIRMArm” (Patent Pending), by various operators within the Sellafield Site and tier two providers looking to collaborate on various projects.
FIRMA enjoyed the company of Kathryn Lennox from Rawwater who FIRMA has been collaborating with on their Molten Metal Manipulation (M3) Sealing Technology which has recently been integrated with the FIRMArm.
There was also lots of interest in our patented, deployable lighter than air surveillance drone (Ghost), both from within Sellafield and independent drone developers & operators.
Many thanks to the NDA for organizing this event, and for the support which they and Sellafield have shown toward the SME community, with special thanks to; Sara Huntingdon and Katherine Eilbeck.
All in all a very productive day. Looking forward to the next one.
