With successful demonstrations at NNL in Workington, Cumbria and a live deployment at Sellafield in Sept 2022, FIRMArm is gathering interest in both domestic and international markets.
FIRMA Engineering were delighted to host “Kohei Sohda” (TEPCO) on the 24th of January. Kohei represents TEPCO’s aspirations to support an international strategy group closely linked to addressing some of the challenges encountered by the “Fukushima Daiichi D&D Engineering Company”.
Kohei was enthusiastic to learn more about how both the FIRMArm technology and FIRMAs capabilities in a broader sense, can be employed to address some of the unique challenges faced in the Japanese nuclear industry.
The visit included an opportunity for Kohei to gain some hands-on experience with the FIRMArm, giving him an excellent understanding of its technical attributes and how it can support inspection & decommissioning activities in Japan.
