FIRMA has been, and continues to be, involved in several research and development projects. We are keen to push what is possible and eager to learn new skills and knowledge. The company has worked with several academic institutions on both in-house and external research projects. We are adept at stitching together information from multiple sources in order to find solutions to novel problems.
With Sheffield University we developed the Ghost lighter-than-air drone. This unique technology was designed to meet the bespoke needs of the nuclear sector, where difficult access and hostile operating environments are encountered.
