FIRMA has extensive links to the manufacturing sector especially in the Sheffield region and can assist in the right manufacturer for your project or as we are more commonly finding providing full support from blank sheet through to manufacture of a finished part, assembly or product.
In addition to expertise in the design for traditional manufacturing techniques, FIRMA is at the forefront of new 3D printing techniques. We have in-house FDM and SLA printers to create both rapid prototypes and finished parts.
FIRMA is also researching WAAM technology and its use for primary structural parts in the aerospace industry.
