When modifying existing products, you don’t always have everything you need. When this happens, you need to reverse engineer the situation before you can move on in the process. FIRMA has experience in this field, having reverse engineered an entire wing box for one client.
We are able to reconstruct the wing of a small turbo prop utility aircraft. Our team recreated the wing in CAD and went on to analyse this using FEM. This enabled the team to validate (both statically and for fatigue) the first flight program of a modified variant of the aircraft.
